Art Kalsruhe   International Fair for Modern Art
Art Kalsruhe March 5 - 8, 2009
Messe Karlsruhe
Festplatz 9
76137 Karlsruhe
We want to surprise our public with this invitation to relax and take a look around’, says art KARLSRUHE trustee Ewald Karl Schrade, referring to the newly established section for the 20 or so publishers of editions, graphic reproduction, and photography concentrated in the dm-arena of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair & Exhibition Centre. Until now, says Schrade, the galleries that only deal with the art of print or photography have been spread throughout the whole fair and have not had the best conditions for reaching their clientele. A lesson that has been learned: so react quickly, cater to the client's needs, and concentrate. At the same time, though, the profile with one-artist-shows and sculpture areas remains unchanged in the other halls. Maintaining clarity to serve visitors still applies. ‘The fair is not being enlarged’, Schrade explains, ‘but its layout optimised.’
