Febr 28 - March 2, 2008
Messe Karlsruhe Festplatz 9 76137 Karlsruhe |
The art KARLSRUHE art fair will soon celebrate its fifth birthday – and the fair booths are as coveted as never before. 165 galleries from 13 different countries and 44 newcomers have now been selected from more than 300 applicants. They will offer their art ranging from classic modern art to contemporary art from 28 February to 2 March 2008 on the premises of the Karlsruhe Trade Fair. The art fair inside the sun-lit and pillar-free halls has become an established mandatory event for collectors, art lovers and the media. In March of 2007 no less than 35,000 visitors of the 4th art KARLSRUHE were counted. That number has ignited the gallery owners’ interest even more. Thus Curator Ewald Karl Schrade and his Council including the gallery owners Angelika Harthan, Dorothea van der Koelen, Wolfgang Henze and Werner Tammen as well as the art critic Dorothee Baer-Bogenschütz also admitted 44 new art galleries for this year’s art fair, among them such heavy weights of the trade as Alfred Gunzenhauser (Munich), Gabriele von Loeper (Hamburg), Salis und Vertes (St. Moritz) and manus presse (Stuttgart).
