Title: Aftermath Photo Competition
PX3's photography competition, Aftermath, is a depiction of the consequence of an event. Our lives can be traced, to a series of aftermaths, the results of a cause and effect, that defines who we are, and what our lives are made of; images that portray these single moments, Px3 aims to capture.
>From celebrations, to wars and their impact, birth and death, natural disasters, intimate, personal relationships, these are defining images-- the Aftermath, of these events. All ranges of emotions and scenarios play a part in creating our own individual aftermaths.
The ability to be aware and understand these profound events are a basic foundation, to many cultures, belief systems. These works should demonstrate the many varied paths, we humans take in life, and it's Aftermath.
It is the desire of Px3 to bring together on a global scale, in a common voice, these distinct ideas of Aftermath, as seen from the perspective of the photographic lens.
Px3 will recognize and identify photographers, from around the world, both professional and non-professional; who capture in their work, the visual impact of an event and it's Aftermath.

Title: 5th International Drawing Biennale
5th International Drawing Biennale Ten Years ago the Polish Art Foundation Inc. decided to organise the International Drawing Competition Biennale to promote the significance and role of drawing as a concept and art form among contemporary artists.
The international nature and reach of the Biennale provides a broad overview and cross section of this art form and is most congenial to the exchange of ideas and trends among artists all over the world.
Participation in the Biennale is open to all artists and students of art schools and colleges without any exception. Any drawing created in the last two years, regardless of the technique/materials used, can be submitted, provided it has not been shown at any previous competitions and at the time remains the artist s property.
For the purpose of this competition, drawing is defined as any artistic expression presented in pencil, crayon, conte, charcoal, pen or brush, on paper or any other material with similar characteristics to paper.
Works can be presented either as a final form of artistic expression, or as a study, visual notes/outline or any other form of interim artistic concept that may be subject to changes at a later stage of its development.
Despite its typical emphasis on linear aspect, elements of drawing can also be created through hachuring, trituration and washing. Use of colour in the drawings is discretionary.
Size of submitted work must be within the following range:
Minimum - A5 sheet, and maximum 51cm x 71cm.
Under terms of this competition any one artist may submit a maximum of 3 works.
A fee in the amount of AU$50 will be charged for a set of three works submitted.
