 L'oeuvre fut exécutée à Safon dans la lagune de Grado (Italie). Cette petite île a été mise, à vie, à la disposition de Pasolini par la municipalité.

This work of art was brought about in Safon, in the Grado Lagoon of Italy. A goodwill status had been conferred to the tiny island for Pasolini by the City Hall.
