This landscape clearly recalls the works
of Carlo Carrà who, along with Masaccio, were Pasolini's favourite painters.
The artist offered this painting to his friend Giuseppe Zigaina in 1960,
on the very day when the latter's father passed away. There is a dedication
written on the back. | Ce paysage rappelle clairement les tableaux de Carlo Carrà qui, à cette époque, comptait à côté de Masaccio comme l'un des peintres préférés de Pasolini. Il offrit ce tableau à son ami Giuseppe Zigaina en 1960, le jour de la mort du père de ce dernier. Le tableau porte une dédicace au dos.
