Lucebert, Cobra

Starting at an early age, I painted as most children do.
The difference is that I continue to paint, despite of wars, countries, situations, ages, joy or sadness...

Time and its chaos change the innoncence of children'eyes into a necessity of expression.
Sometimes, I see fear in human faces as their own truth
So like an awaken child I paint portraits, living scènes...
Landscape is not my strong point, I always feel it indifferent to my anguish.

Many years went by, always trying various techniques, I found myself best expressed in abtract style which allows other people discover their emotion without contraints.
Distress and solitude remain as basic element in my thoughts but painting comforts me, conducting me in my secret fteedom.

Influenced by the love of cinema, I insert numeric, photos, and collages ... tempt to create paintings in a poetic, surrealistic sensation which permits me to see things the way I like.

What I try to show underneath images, matters and colors ... is not sadness
but an other form of vision in nostaghia mood, a kind of feeling which one wishes to have "when autumn leaves start to fall..."

It's not so difficult to deal with painting as I do it my way : just like a samourai, aiming at nothing but his sword's point, I paint.
