The Triennale Europea dell'Incisione cultural association
, created in 1981 by a group of keen passionates, artistic and cultural operators, and supported by the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region government, support which became official through the promulgation of the Regional Law n°3/87 has its principal statuary objective in divulging and valorizing the engraving art paying particular attention to the works of the younger artists, and creating situations and moments for contact and cultural exchange between European countries in order to facilitate comprehension and peace among populations.
